Holy Name parish is a Roman Catholic community which serves the spiritual, societal and educational needs of the predominantly latino neighborhoods of North Camden. Under the leadership of Father William Kelley, S.J., the Parish functions as the unifying basis for the many ministries of Holy Name of Camden. Spiritually, it provides daily liturgical services, an extensive religious education for more than 400 public school students, and personal and family counseling. The Parish makes an ongoing special effort to recognize leadership qualities and develop leadership skills among the laity.

Holy Name parish supports a thriving youth ministry for both boys and girls, which includes a community service and tutoring program for high school students; a very popular Liittle League that serves all of North Camden, and spiritual and personal development programs such as Hijas de Maria, Hijitas de Maria and Caballeros de Cristo. Holy Name parish, with a core of 400 families as parishioners, creates a sense of stability and community that extends beyond the boundaries of the parish and reaches to all families in this community.
